I know I am not the first one with this issue, I just wanted the opinion of more experienced (and perhaps knowledgable) users.
I have been using my Surge for a week now, and I think it's overestimating my calorie burn.
My stats are:
age 31
186 cm
80 kg
HR at rest about 61-62.
The least I've burned was 2,703 kcal, by virtually doing nothing...
The most I've burned was 3,726 kcal, with about 15 minutes of normal walking, and 2 hours of bouldering. And the day is not over (it's 22:20 here)...
Does that make any sense?
Thank you!

It does seem high. I think it's worth double checking your profile settings (weight, height, age etc) at https://www.fitbit.com/user/profile/edit as these have a direct affect on calorie burn calculations.
Are all you calories being directly tracked by your fitbit or do you link to any 3rd party apps that may be causing the issue?
Best AnswerThe settings are all good.
And yes, the calories are directly tracked by fitbit...

I have a similar problem and it seems to be exaggerated by an erratic heart rate. I've started wearing the surge tighter on my wrist and it's now considerably better. Give it a try.
It seems like the HR values are alright though. Nothing drastic here (at least during the workout itself).
