Hi. I've just worn my surge and my wife's charge 2 on the same wrist for 10 minutes or so thinking my surge was much less sensitive. Her charge 2 logged 5x as many steps during the period. They are both set for non dominant hand. I think the surge may have a problem.
Can anyone help please?

Thanks for popping by the forums @Mark_w_wilson!
Actually that's a really good observation. Were both tracker paired to your Fitbit Account or hers? Are they new? When comparing trackers you don't always get exactly the same amount of steps; there are some tips that you can follow.
For example the one that you mentioned, about handedness. Also how you're wearing it and the must important if ti is paired to the user, since Fitbit use your personal information to calculate steps and distance using your stride length; which is taken from your Account. Also if the tracker is new, the first 1 or 2 days, it will be calibrating your steps.
But going back to the Fitbit Surge! Please let's help your little buddy by restarting it a couple of times. Then follow the accuracy test steps, so we can verify how is this working.
1. Put your Surge on your.
2. Walk 100 steps, making sure to count a step each time one of your feet hits the ground.
3. Pause, then check your tracker to see your step count.
If your tracker counted less than 100 steps or more than 100, please let us know and we'll see if we can investigate further. Sometimes, when you start walking you may notice that your steps may not update on your tracker right away. After about 10-15 continuous steps, you'll notice the steps catch up and start updating in real-time with each step you take.
You can find some wearing tips that might help in this post.
I'll be around, let me know how this works!
