You need to go to fitbit connect for your mothers account and add new device. Connect the surge you want to add however if you added the black surge to her account you must remove it before you can add the blue one. There is no need to remove the charge Hr unless you want to. To remove a device you need to log into your mums account go to devices click on the one you want to remove and scroll to the bottom of the page you will see remove device, click on it and it will remove it. You will need to do the same to your account if you are adding the black one to yours. Good luck and I hope this helps.
