Difficult to charge keeps coming off have to lay it just right is this common

The charging cable has to stay connected securely to the charging port on the tracker.

Yes I understand that but it keeps coming off so it's difficult it should not be difficult to connect and stay connected. Puzzled. The only thing it might be is a bad port. Thanks anyway 😊
