So my first fitbit surge was a gift and the band started swelling and bubbling. It occurred under 1 year so the company replaced it. Now the screen has cracked. I woke up one morning and the screen was just cracked. Have no idea how it happened. I called customer service and was told this was not replaceable so they gave me a 25% discount. The dilemma I'm facing is I don't know if I want another Surge based on the problems I've had. Any suggestions.

I had the Surge and found it a bit too large for me. Also, I rarely used the GPS. You might want to consider either the Blaze or the Charge 2. Both can do all the same things and they can pair with the GPS on your phone if you really need that feature. The Charge 2 is much newer. My wife has it and loves it.
Also, both have replaceable bands. I bought a tan leather one for my Blaze.

So sorry your Unit Died May it RIP
I like my surge when I wear it.
But My favorite is the ONE and the Charge 2. Charge 2 has everything in a small package
Surge has GPS Built in Easier to use.
Charge 2 has connected GPS. Some time hard to connect. But I would keep this over the Surge any day As Surge is big and kinda clunky

@Jnewton For a really informed decision, glance thru the various Forums and see what numerous users have to say about any of the other devices you are considering. If they are anything like the Surge (in durability or reliability) you may be better off looking at another company. When my fourth Surge ( in 18 months) finally dies I will be (sadly) moving on to a more reliable and reputable company. Best of luck with your decision.
