my fitbit surge only shows the time and doesnt show my heart rate on the same screen is that because i have a earlier version or is it that i have not set it up properly also the backlight can it be altered to make it brighter any help would be much appreciated thankyou

Welcome to the forums!

 

You need to swipe the face to see the Heart rate. None of the clock face show Heart Rate  on the same screen as the clock
