Data from yesterday not uploading

Hi - can anyone help with a frustrating issue I seem to have with my new Fitbit Surge. It appears my data from yesterday did not sync. I have tried to sync it again today but it is showing I only did a few steps whereas the reality is I did nearer to 25,000. I've tried hooking it up manually with no joy.

Is it possible that if it did not sync yesterday then all the data is lost at midnight? Seems a bit of a poor design fault if so!

Hello @Benrunner,

Welcome to the community!

Did you by any chance?...

  1. Deplete the battery on your Surge.
  2. Charged it.
  3. Started to wear it and get all your activity...

Before you synced?  If this sounds familiar, then I may have an explanation of what happened.

I hope this helps.
