Do Manually Logged Activities Overwrite Step/Distance/Floor Data?

I've forgotten to stop the excercise timer when running stairs the past two mornings, and, as the feature has been removed, I cannot edit the end time of the stairclimber excercise to accurately reflect the workout.

I know that I can delete the activity and manually log a more accurate one, but when I create the manual log, steps and distance are listed as N/A.  Will this overwrite/delete the daily steps, distance, and floors data collected during the time period covered by the manual log?

The better solution, of course, would be to bring back the edit activities feature, but that's one thouroughly bludgeoned equine corpse at this point.

@Vaccallica, your steps/distance are safe! For most activities, they're not edited by the activity. Only in the case of a manual run/walk/hike where you enter in the distance manually are the steps overwritten. I do agree with you, I wish we could edit activities.
