Double Tracking using Surge, WW and Strava

I did a long bike ride today.  I wore my Surge, but didn't have it set to track the ride.  (I used my bike's Garmin.)  I uploaded the ride to Strava.  I was going to manually record the bike ride at Weight Watchers, which is linked to my Surge.  The bike ride was already there -- I guess b/c of the Smart Tracking feature.  That's great except it showed up twice.  Once as the full length of the ride, and then each half (I took break in the middle) was on there separately.  There's no way to delete Fitbit generated activities from their site.  When I go to my Fitbit Dashboard, the ride is only there once.  Any clues?

Halo, @farouche thanks for stopping by! Thank you for your participation in the forums! Cat Happy

Wow, I'm wondering if maybe you WW account is not getting information from another account besides Fitbit. This is the first time that I know about this, so we might have to further investigate. Is your WW account linked to any other account or device? As you already checked that from Fitbit you have only one Bike activity log, though you're also mentioning Strava! And Activities from Strava are synced over to Fitbit as manually logged activities but will not include GPS or heart rate data from Strava. Do you have Strava linked to your Garmin watch? Maybe Fitbit didn't send the information but received the activity log. Cat Surprised

I know, to many possible scenarios. What I mean is that if your Fitbit Account got the Bike activity using SmartTrack on the Surge, it should appear as "Outdoor bike" in your Activity History. And you do have the option to delete it, in case that you want to just tap on the three dots in the upper right corner for iOS platform (see picture.)

If you have your WW account connected to other devices or account, you might have to check the activity details to determine where this activity comes. Is there a way you can attach screenshots of activity, including other accounts to compare data?

My WW account is only linked to my Fitbit.  My Fitbit is linked to Strava but Strava is not linked to WW.  My Garmin, which is not a watch but a small bike computer, is linked to Strava but not to WW.  The ride only shows up once on Strava.  Once on my Fitbit dashboard.  So I'm not sure.  I guess I won't worry about it.

Well if the SmartTrack was loaded at Fitbit. It will carry over to the WW site when it syncs

Thanks for jumping in @WendyB! Thanks a lot for your patience. I also think that you don't have to worry about it. But it'd be a good idea check your workouts once in while to see how this is working. You can read some helpful information about how Third Part Apps connects with Fitbit.  I'll be around in case you have any doubt or more questions!
