Out of a weeks sleep record, only 1 result tells me when I actually "fell asleep". How can I get this result everytime?
TIA

Hello @Justtrace3 very welcome to the Community! Smiley LOL You can make your sleep tracking more sensitive by opening your Fitbit app and then tap on "Account" (down right corner), scroll down to "Settings" and tap on "Advanced Settings", scroll down again and try to find "Sleep Sensitivity" tap it and select "Sensitive". Finally, sync your tracker. In addition, I found this article about Sleep Tracking FAQs where you can find more information about sleep feature and is going to give you a lot of tips to improve your Zzzzz. Smiley LOL

Let me know how it goes!

Hmm,

I have a real big problem of falling asleep, often laying in bed for a long time, yet only once did it record a couple of minutes of falling asleep, every other day for over 3 months since I have that surge it shows Zero minutes for falling asleep.  Why?

Hey @Wiko134, thank you for join us! Smiley Happy When your tracker indicates that you are moving so much that restful sleep would not be possible, your sleep graph will indicate that you were awake. Also, during sleep mode, when your body is completely at rest and unmoving, your Fitbit tracker records that you are asleep and the time it takes for you to actually fall asleep is not incorporated into this calculation. If you don't move all night it is possible to get 100% sleep efficiency even if it takes you 20 minutes to fall asleep.

However, could you please let me know if you already tried a Restart on your Tracker?. Sometimes, your tracker just need a refresh. Smiley Wink

I hope this information helps you, let me know if you have any additional questions, I'll be around! Smiley Wink

Thanks for your feedback. I recently, while in Cuba, restarted the Tracker as suddenly I couldn't initiate the swiping for the various excercises (the other swiping actions worked) I thought that perhaps that was also the reason also for not showing any sleeping activities for 8 days in a row. It did show other activities for each of those days and since I tried to walk almost every day, that no "excercise" swipe issue wasn't a problem for all of those 8 days so it must have been another reason. I did wear it during those nights in the usual spot and it was charged. (BTW. Only once on a 3 hrs long walk on the beach did I run out of power and it seems, after getting back and charging it the GPS showed a straight line back from the spot it had stopped and unit recorded a 23 hrs walk.)

Have done now again a re-set and will monitor this issue.  BTW it seems to show restless for a while as I do try other positions.

Hey @Wiko134 thanks for your info Smiley Happy. You said you travel to Cuba, right? Did you was be able to change the time zone on your Dashboard?. Because, that could be the reason of the issue with the sleep tracking. Please, make sure you have the correct Time Zone  and also, let me know if the swipe issue was resolved.

Keep me posted!

The swipe problem was fixed when I restarted the Surge in Cuba.  As to the other problem, which after 8 days resolved itself while still in Cuba, it can't be related to any timezone setting as Cuba's timezone is identical to the one where I live in Canada.

However that opens the question: "wouldn't the Surge having a GPS not be able to automatically change to the timezone where it is located?"  For example my car on a trip in 2015 to California, changed it's clock automatically as I crossed the various timezones.  Yes, for the Surge I may have to start an excercise to engange the GPS, but once enganged it should be able to change the time to the current timezone.  It certainly did a great job, on my TEST of recording the route including speed (which on my PC showed roads and names of cities in Cuba), when I set it as a "bike trip" while travelling 112 km by bus from the resort to the airport. The map of the beach at the resort of course understandably isn't that close to reality . While it did show the name of the resort walking at the beach, it showed me sometimes walking on water after downloading the info to the PC. So the shoreline on the map is only approximate. Had the same issue a long time ago with an old verions of a Garmin GPS when driving to Cancun. At that time only basic map info was awailable in Mexico and here to at times I was driving "on water" along the Gulf of Mexico.
