Faulty back light

2nd Brand New Surge and no back light. **ahem** fuming

Hi, @Wacky_blonde, have you checked whether your backlight is actually turned to "on" or "auto" ?  Might it be set to "off"?  

 

Press the left button and swipe the touch screen until you come to "settings".  Press the bottom right button to scroll through settings.  When you come to back light check that it is set to "on" or "auto". (press the lower right button to move through settings.)
