I havev a replacement surge and I cannot get it to connect to the PC. I reach the stage where it askes for the 4 digit code on the watch, all fine, I put it in, great, it then says it is looking for the tracker and it fails! I must admit, I think the software is very flakey to say the least. Husband has a Garmin - no problems!

Was that answer a joke answer Wendy? the software has not been updated to the Surge in almost 2 years and a new replacement should have it. The PC software should not in any way affect syncing, additionally they have not changes how they sync the Surge.
The only solution is possibly check the Bluetooth setting on the Surge and permissions on the computer, if the USB antenna is installed properly.
