Feelings comments about having a Fitbit Surge

and I cannot set a move reminder.

When the band finally wears out on my fitbit instead of investing any more money into a new band, I guess I will need to switch to the apple watch.

I have had many fitbits in my time and a customer since the first fitbit came out. To know I spent top dollar and Fitbit still hasn't updated the software is a bit frustrating even though the customers have been requesting it for years.

You have everything that was promised to you when you bought it. Just because newer trackers have the move feature and a couple older ones (not as old as the Surge) got firmware updates doesn't mean they all will or should.

The Surge is $249, the Apple watch is $369 ($269 without GPS) and does not count floors. The battery also needs to be recharged daily and you can only pair it with an iPhone.

I know all of that. But now that my Fitbit Surge's band is soon to be worn
out, and there is not possible way to replace it so it has to go into the
garbage.

Luckly I have an extended warranty from American Express, and I can decide
what to do with the money.

I think the Apple is a better investment. It can be updated and
functionality is able to be increased.
