Have a Fit Bit Surge and have found it the most useless bit of kit in my running career (over 50 years)

It takes forever to sync, its GPS lengths vary from day to day on the same loop that I run, one day a measured 5k (Jones counter measure) comes in at 4.94 km another day it could be 5.06k. Its elevations on course also varies daily on the same loop and bears no resemblance to actual elevation on the ground and now the activation button will not depress to start on my run.

I'm afraid its one for the bin and have just ordered a Garmin.
