Surge heart rate no longer working and neither is the message preview on the watch. This is my second surge after a strap issue.

You can try @WendyB suggestion, and if that doesn't help follow the steps in this post; this can help for both issues. Have you tried to manually turn off and on the Heart Rate feature on your Surge itself and then sync it? That might work!
