Hi,
For a few weeks now when i take my surge off shortly after the heartrate spikes to 170-180 until i put it back on or turn it off. this causes a multitude of inaccurate readings for that day. It used to just show the -- but it no longer does after a few minutes. I believe it started after an update a few weeks ago to a month ago. Any help would be appreciated.
also, around the same time the clock started mis-displaying. It will sometimes get stuck at a time, or it may just jump back a few hours working normally almost like its in a different time zone, but it does not always jump back the same amount of hours. Ive seen anywhere between 2 hours up to 5-6 hours back in time. The only way to resolve this is to sync it with my phone app.
thanks for any help in advance.
Don

Hello @DonaldJ, great to have you as a new member in our community, welcome aboard! From time to time I liked to play different sports and when I used my tracker I noticed the same issue you experienced. Usually what I do is clean the sensor (Green Lights) of the Heart rate since is all sweaty and this affect the readings. So I can recommend the same workaround I do and at the same time I invite you visit the following link for product clean tips: https://www.fitbit.com/productcare
Now the issue with the clock, I recommend a restart:
1. Press and hold the Home and Select buttons (left and bottom right) for 10 to 15 seconds, until you see the screen flash or start to dim.
2. Let go of the buttons.
3. After your screen turns completely off, wait 10 seconds and press the Home button to turn your Surge back on.
If the issue with the heart rate still persist the restart will address this as well.
Let me know how it goes, hope to see you soon.
