Hi! I am having problems with getting notifications to work on my surge. I am currently using cyanogen 13. The watch will also not sync. Any ideas?

I use a surge and a OnePlus One, I have to reboot the watch occasionally for them to connect. I have also needed to re-install the app once.

Let me help you out, try the troubleshooting steps below:

  1. Restart your tracker make sure to follow the instructions that @SunsetRunner shared.
  2. Turn off notifications:
    1. On the Fitbit app dashboard, tap your tracker.
    2. On the device screen, tap your tracker.
    3. Tap Allow notifications access and turn off access to the Fitbit Notification Service.
  3. Reboot your mobile device.
  4. In the Fitbit app, tap Allow notifications access and allow access to the Fitbit Notification Service.
  5. Turn on call, text, or calendar notifications.

If the issue persists try contacting the Support Team so they can review your device history and tell you the options.

Let me know how it goes!

I have found on my oneplus one that I need to delete the pairing to my surge from the phone's Bluetooth menu. It then syncs every time.
