Fitbit Surge Quality or Quantity

Although the fitbit surge is packed with clock face features, the quality is sub standard to say the least. Hopefully you are seeing this before you spend your hard earned money. I purchased four surges, one for my son, two for my employees, and one for myself.  My strap dissolved (yes dissolved) in the first six months of use. It was promptly replaced with a new surge. Awesome support! It didn't last 18 months, same problem simply falling apart where the strap meets the watch face. Here is the best part. They only take care of it for 365 days, you can not get it fixed, or replaced, but they will give you 25% off of a new Trakker! How sweet! 

 

As I previously mentioned I purchased 4 Surges for 1400.00, all four have been replaced once, my sons was replaced 3 times and he finally gave up and bought an Apple iWatch. My two employees watches (the replaced ones) look like junk. The rubber is peeling off in the exact same spot as mine and rest assured they will come apart, it is only a matter of time.

Please know that we provide feedback to our team based on community posts and we are always working on improving our devices and overall environment based on what you share here.

 

About the information that you received from our team, each case is different and handled depending on the specif scenarios. In your case, it'd be the best option if you're considering staying in the Fitbit family as you were told. If it is not your case, sorry you feel this is enough but this is an option that Fitbit gives as something extra, since most of companies don't have alternatives after the warranty ends. I understand you've invested in the Fitbit Family; however, Fitbit as any other company have policies to follow through. While customer satisfaction remains our number one goal, the demands of running a global business require that we enforce our warranty consistently.

Hi Yohana,

Nothing personal, but I do not care about your policies or your global business. The people that buy your products are the ones that enable you to continue expanding your customer base. I personally care care about investing 360.00 for 18 months of use, 20.00 dollars a month for a disposable piece of junk jewelry.

 

I am down 1400.00 and you are down 6 customers, so I guess we all lose in this transaction
