Fitbit app can't find Surge.

I'm looking for some help with my Surge. It last synced yesterday. I've tried re-installing the app, resetting my tracker, restarting bluetooth,  unpairing and repairing and I've now resorted to deleting my tracker from the app. It just won't find it. I've fully charged the watch and it's sitting right next to my phone. Does anyone have any suggestions or is it unfixable? I've only had it just over a year.

Thanks in advance.

How many times did you try restarting your fitbit? The process is known to not always work and it's recommended to try it at least 3 times.

I've restarted the tracker at least 3 times and reinstalled the app a couple of times.  The tracker itself turns on, swipes and tracks. When I try to pair it, that works fine as well but it can't find the tracker when I try to sync it. I'll try the reset again.

Thanks for replying.

Nobody knows why the sync is so unreliable, including Fitbit. If they did know it would be fixed by now.

My Surge will go for 3 to 5 days with "Tracker not found" and then suddenly sync successfully for a a day or 2. Then it's back to "Tracker not found". If any remedy works it is purely coincidental as it will not work the next time. I've found the best remedy is to do nothing as it's the least frustrating in terms of wasted effort.

I don't know if the June 27 update has helped as I stopped wearing my Surge 2 weeks ago.

I've been in the same situation since March this year. I've tried the various forms of advise offered & the only thing I can get to work is to reset my Fitbit every time I want to see my updated progress.

That means I'm needlessly resetting it 4 or 5 times per day.

It's become an annoying habit I do this when I'm about to have a meal, jump into the car or stop for a coffee & then let the synching process take place.

I fear it's just a matter of time before the buttons or another feature wears out.

It now seems to have woken up! I didn't do anything else with it. I'm glad it's syncing again but it's a wee bit annoying that I have no clue why it's working now. Fingers crossed that whatever glitch it had has worked itself out.

Thanks again for the replies.

Unfortunately I cant get to the settings screen any longer to Bluetooth settings. The swipe function no longer works.
