Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Lari. It's great to have you here. I would recommend following these recommendations to maximize your Surge's battery life. Hope this helps.

Thanks for stopping by, see you around. Cat Happy

Thanks but I have already gone through the discussion and help. I don't do any GPS work, have notifications, etc. and probably don't need the Surge but I upped from a basic when I bought. Don't all day sync or anything. Have changed nothing since I got it - it's just wearing down quickly. My concern is that I leave to hike two months in Europe on May 31 and my dilemma is do I simply go out and get a new one ($$$$) or risk it and pray it doesn't quit. I am mostly in remote areas so replacement is not easy.

Welcome your thoughts.

Cheers

@Lari In this case it would be a good idea contacting Customer Support. Let them know the workarounds performed so they can investigate your case and might provide useful workarounds.

On another note, I would recommend checking out these recommendations for travelling with your Fitbit tracker. Have a nice trip in Europe.

Catch you later. Cat Happy
