Fitbit surge

I ran my first half marathon yesterday and it rain. My Fitbit has stopped working and has lots on condensation build up under the screen. I called customer service and all they did is offer 25% off. If the company claims the product is rain proof and I get caught in the and it stops working, I think it should be replaced.
