My surge does not seem to be caculating anything correctly.
Being on the elliptical for an hour, it says that i've only completed 0.13 mi and I only burned 53 calories and my bpm dips as low as 55 bpm.
Is anyone else having these types of issues too? I've contacted fitbit support and they've had me restart my fitbit but bpm is still inaccurate so they are sending me out a replacement.
I'm just very frustrated with my fitbit. I would have thought that as high tech as the surge is that fitbit support would at least have a way to re-calibrate the watch rather than to simply just replace it.

The ellipical is not step based so it will not be accurate when on the machine.

Hope you're having a great day @LeliaYang. You can change your tracker sensitivity on your Dashboard on "Settings", this might help your Surge to track most of your movements for this specific activity, as @WendyB told you before, this is not a step base activity, so your Fitbit relies on your hand movements.
Let me know how it works for you!
