Hi

Can't figure out the answer so hoping someone can. When I go for a run, if I am connected to my phone via Bluetooth, does the Surge use the phone to increase GPS accuracy?

In terms of battery for both phone and watch, this is the only reason I would connect during a run.

Many thanks

Gareth

@GarethsABitFit Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Your Surge includes built-in GPS, it uses its own, not the phone's. If you don't have a Surge, the Fitbit app will use your phone's GPS. The battery on your Surge should last up to 10 hours while using activities that use GPS.

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy
