Hi
When using my Fitbit Surge outdoors on free run, hike etc. it is taking up to 5 minutes before it can find a GPS signal
Once found it remains on and if you stop the run and then start a new one it finds GPS immediately
I have tried this in a few different locations and have had the same problem. This only started happening around 2 months ago and it used to work fine.
Has anyone else had this problem and know what it might be?

If you are moving it takes longer to sync with the GPS satellites. Rebooting your tracker can help. Hold the left and bottom right buttons to force a reboot.

I'm glad to see you here in the Forums, your comments are very important for us @13guppies! Thanks for the suggestion @Sparky617!
About the issue you're having with your GPS feature, indeed, some times high buildings, trees and weather may cause an interference on your GPS signal, but it sounds odd that only one tracker is having this hard time. As @Sparky617 mentioned restarting the Surge tracker will help to fix any issue the tracker may have. For best results, wait for your Fitbit to find the signal before you start your workout.
After trying that please keep me posted on the outcome of your situation. I'm very interest in keep helping you! So, you can keep enjoying your honey days!
I'll be around!
