Heart rate function not working

I've owned my surge for roughly 18 months - was out for a run a few weeks ago when it started pouring rain and noticed the next day the Fitbit Screen was clouding up. After two days buried in rice, the moisture was removed and the Fitbit was working again....or so I thought. This week, all other features are working except the heart rate monitor will not even recognize a heartbeat. This is a huge issue as now when I excercise, it is also not calculating the amount of calories I burned correctly. Anyone else have this issue? Warranty period is up, so trying to figure out if there is a way to fix it on my own.

I should also add that I did try the hard reset and that did not solve the issue. There are still no flashing green lights and I am certain hear rate function is turned on.

@Fitgirl27 A warm welcome to our Fitbit Community! So sorry to hear that your Charge HR is not tracking your heart rate. It seems that you have troubleshooted this issue by restarting your tracker and putting it in rice. Since this was not helpful, my best advice is to contact our Customer Support team so they can investigate further and get you back on track.
