Heart rate not working

Got a replacement surge last week (old one battery died) but after 12 hrs use, the heart rate monitor has stopped working- no flashing light or icon, no reading etc. It briefly reappeared for an hour but has now gone again. I've followed all online instructions (tighten /loosen strap, clean, reset, switch HR on/off/auto etc) and contacted customer support (on Monday - and am still awaiting a reply) anyone got any other smart ideas? Thanks

Sounds like your replacement device is faulty.  Get it replaced again.

BTW I'm on Surge no 3 because both of the first two failed.  Don't think manufacturing have good quality control.

Welcome @Tcmh! Thanks so much for working ont his. I'd like to know if your tracke is working fine now or if you're still having issues with your heart rate sensor.  As @chris2121 mentioned, contacting Support is always a good idea, they have the proper tools to find the source of this.

Keep me posted!

Thank you for the update @Tcmh! I'm glad to know that you're going to receive a new tracker. Once you receive it you can set up your tracker with your computer, iOS, Android and Windows phone. Hope this helps.
