Home button not working

I've tried all the remedies and none work. My surge is a year old and the home button is not working. Any suggestions besides changing the clock face and syncing, it won't shut off either

Was one of the remedies you tried a restart of the Surge using this procedure?

If so, how many times did you try it? It's known to not always work and it's recommended to try it at least 3 times.

If that doesn't do the trick then it may be a hardware issue. The warranty runs for 2 years in Europe and 1 year elsewhere. If you are still covered then you can contact customer support via the following link. If they can't fix it then will normally replace it under warranty:

I can't restart it because I can't shut it down. I'm not covered I purchased it on eBay, but thanks anyway. When I changed the clock face it worked for a couple of seconds and I was able to restart it once. When I tried a few more times it wouldn't work long enough for me to restart again

Hope you're doing great @Dorsmi! Sorry about your Surge. I think that it would be better to contact directly the person that sold you the Surge in the eBay page. Did you contact Customer Support to see your options or troubleshooting suggestions?

Keep me posted on the resolution! Smiley Happy

You are right of course. I refer people to the restart guide so often that I become a little complacent. I should have taken more time to realise that it would not work in this case. However, I was only trying to help (albeit unsuccessfully).
