How do I change the time on my Fitbit?

I am traveling and want to change the time on my Fitbit to the local timezone in Dakar Senegal. I have my charging cable with me, but not the doggle, and my laptop.  Any ideas?

I am trraveling in Europe and want to change my timezone.  I didn't bring my doggle as I have bad experiences with losing them during long trips e.g. for Logitech or MS mice.  All I have is  just the USB cable as well as my laptop.  I've changed the timexone to the local time zone on my dashborad and computer, but the Connect icon keeps asking me to plug in the Doggle.  Is there any way to sync and change the Time zone with out the Doggle? this doesn't seem like a very robust system if not.

You are correctly doing what you need to do to your online profile, but you cannot update the tracker unless you can sync it to the Fitbit servers. Without the dongle (or a compatible mobile device with an internet connection) the time will not get updated on your tracker.

Could you please clarify what you mean by a "a compatible mobile device with an internet connection" means and what that would look like, how I would do that?  I have an Android smartphone with me (Galaxy S5) which is connected to the Internet.

Thanks.

He means, a cell phone that's on the "compatible" list, with the fitbit app, and an internet connection.

You have an S5, so you're all set.
