How often are compatible devices updated?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just purchased a new phone - OnePlus 3T - and naturally because I didn't look first, I have found that it is not compatible with my Surge. How often does Fitbit update the compatible devices. I see that the first OnePlus phone was on the list, but now we're up to #3. May get rid of the Surge anyway as it's been acting up since day 1, but...

Thanks

I'll contact support for the compatibility question, thanks! I didn't think of that.

As far as the device goes, it's been touchy the whole time. The bottom right button is only occasionally responsive to being pushed (which pushes my buttons LOL). The device spontaneously won't always sync with my phone - either "can't find tracker" or some other message.

I was hoping the new phone would mean a fresh start, with the exception of the button of course, but apparently not since it's not compatible.

Nice to see you in the Forums @mamapan! Sorry to hear that you Fitbit Surge is pushing your buttons. Smiley Surprised

For hardware issues it's best to contact Customer Support as @WendyB mentioned. If you're currently using a phone that is not compatible with Fitbit you also have the option to use an iPad, laptop or computer for syncing purposes.

I'll be around if you need anything else. Smiley Very Happy

IM'd with a very helpful Fitbit employee...and my new phone (OnePlus 3T) seems to work just fine with the app. I haven't tried the GPS function yet, but at least I can sync. I'll work on the problem with the device itself another time.

thanks all!

More good news - I can confirm the GPS works too. I've used it on several hikes now.

The not so good news - now my band has a big bubble 😞

At least everything works!

Glad to see you on board @mamapan! It's great to know that you had the option to the GPS feature in your phone successfully, super! About the not so good news, please get in touch with a Fitbit representative, so they can take a look of your case and possible options for you. Gave as many details in regards how you use it and clean it. Smiley Embarassed

Keep me posted on the resolution! Woman Wink
