My fit bit surge does not count calories correctly
When I was on bed rest it said I burnt 3000-4000
Now it says over 5000 a day .
I'm on my feet at work but that is excessive.
also the count for the steps is way too high
About 15000 a day I dint think is calibrated correctly or is a defective item

The first thing to check are the height and weight settings associated with your account. If it's counting that many calories then it sounds like some incorrect details have been entered somewhere.

I have the same problem. However my stats are correct but still fitbit counts extra steps. if i shake my hand a little or while driving the steps increase by 200-500. also, sometimes the HR reaches 100+ without doing any activity. The weird thing is that i just received a replaced device from fitbit 2 days back and it has already started showing inaccurate data
