Incorrect Calories burned on Surge

Good Morning!

I had to send my initial Surge back due to a charging issue and the strap. I received a new one last week, and ever since, I feel that my calories burned are calculated incorrectly. As of right now, I only have 2000 steps, but, it shows I have burned 405 calories, which to me, seems unrealistic. Is anyone else having this problem/issue? I have reviewed other posts about this similar issue, but, they seem to be a year or two old. I am also running the most updated version(9.2) which in reading, was supposed to correct this.

Any assistance would be great!

HI there @queencamie, good to see you around. As you know your total calories also depend from your BMR. This calories are almost half ot your total count and is the rate at which you burn calories as a result of maintaining vital body functions. These functions include breathing and heartbeat and brain activity, among others.
