How can I keep from losing steps when I sync from 1 device to another? I have a flex that I wear while I work and a surge that I wear to workout. Today I walked out of work and synced the flex to my phone and it showed 8385 steps. When I synced the surge to get the steps to transfer it went to 2650 steps.

Hey hey hey @mpmcd13, welcome to the Community!

Having multiple trackers affects live data on your mobile app. “Live” data refers to the changing step count you see in the Fitbit app while you walk. In the Fitbit apps for iOS and Android, you’ll see live data for the tracker that is closest to your mobile device. For this reason, it’s best to keep the tracker you’re not using at least 10 feet away to avoid frequent “switching” of the live data.

The best is not using both trackers at the same time. Also, I would like you to check that you have the most updated Operation system on your Android device.

And last but not least, please perform a restart of your Surge and Flex.

Let me know how it goes!
