I have walked about 18000 steps today and now both my phone and Fitbit say 9000+. What has happened to the missing steps

 Hello my friend! @Michellemcleish. Welcome aboard! hmmm...maybe you are logging activities?

 

When you do this some steps are transferred to your log activities depending on the time and duration of the exercise. Please take a look at this article for more information.
