Hello @mau2374, welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here 🙂 I know that you mentioned you have tried all the troubleshoot available, did you try to turn on the "Always Connected" option on the tracker settings? If you already did I recommend if you haven't already to contact support so they can review the tracker's software.
Also please note that your tracker will only show texts sent through the text messaging app you chose during setup.
Keep me posted! 🙂

Correct that Message+ isn't working for people with the Surge (not sure what's the reason either, but it isn't just the Fitbit that has this issue).
As to the stock app, did you insure that "Preview message" is set to "On" in the stock Samsung message app setting? (More -> Notifications -> "Preview message" is at the bottom.
I have an S6 as well, and it works with the stock app as expected.

Message+ debugging with Tech Support. We tried all these steps and it still did not work. Only the notification but no text comes through to the Fitbit Surge. They are escalating to engineering
is hoping that engineering will issue a fix, or provide additional debug information.

Message+ still doesn't work with my new FitBit Blaze my wife and I each bought one yesterday. It just shows (1 Message) but no text. We tried the default messaging and app and sure enough you can get the text to appear on the watch, but the app is garbage and when I try to send messages on it, it just crashes and says Unfortunately, Messaging has stopped.
So I can either read messages on my watch but not send messages (yes I have tried all the Clear Cache / uninstall / reinstall, power on / power off, etc) on default Messaging app.
Or I can get notified I have a message on Message+ but not read my messages without picking up my phone.
Is this getting worked on? I googled this provblem and looks like its been around with Message+ and FitBit for years. If not getting worked on I will go get Samsung Gear S2 watches and return these.
Thanks

Try disabling Popup. I have a Note8 and after turning this option off, I started receiving the text on my Fitbit

Hello. I'm having the issue of my message+ texts not written out on my blaze. Just a week ago they were and now suddenly I just get that I have 1 message and it doesn't even say who it's from. If I switch to the Samsung app everything is there. I need this to work on message+. Thoughts?

Try going into your phone settings, click notifications, find your texting app and click that, then select the Notification Center if it’s not selected already. When I updated my phone it removes that selection option and caused the notification to refrain from accessing my versa.

I fixed the problem on my Versa 4 by going into the settings of message+ on my phone. I changed the privacy setting to allow a preview of received messages on the status bar and lock screen
