Metronome

With the Fitbit's vibrating function, I think it would be beneficial for users to have a vibrating metronome function where the tempo could be set. Not only could this set a physical activity's pace, but also provide a sunstantial benefit to users in real world scenarios. Anyone from musicians to paramedics could find use in such a feature. Apple Watch already has the feature and a separate company is producing a watch that does only that (and i believe has a tap tempo function).

Setting an active pulse can create a sling shot of motivation when running, biking, or even breathing during yoga. if pulses could somehow be synced via bluetooth to the tempo of which the music the user is listening to, even better. I feel that it is important for the user to be able to enable a beat. This function could also be helpful in setting and maintaining heartrate goals. The hardware is already equipped for it; in theory, it seems the software would just need to be updated.

I say all this because I love my Surge, and people have tried to talk me into purchasing an Apple Watch as well as  the metronome watch TWICE in just one week...and i agree with them: it is a feature that would ease my everyday life and believe it would make my daily workout routines more effective.

Let me know if you have any questions or have any feedback on this suggestion.

Thanks

I have written one, and will release it as soon as I've tested it on the Versa, which I should get in a couple of weeks time according to Fitbit. Keep an eye in the App Gallery and on www.coolcatukes.com where I will feature it.
