Mileage not adding right in the app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
Hello. I've been having issues with the mileage incorrectly transferring from my watch to the app. Today I ran 6.1 miles ar 11:15 pace, which shows up in the exercise total. But the total at the top of the exercise says 5.49 with a 12:29 pace. This has happened with other runs. From the look of the map, it is changing my starting point. Any help would be appreciated.

Very welcome to the Community @Jramundson! In order to make your distance more accurate, try to adjust your Stride Length, after that restart your Fitbit tracker and Sync it.

I hope this info helps you, let me know how it goes! Smiley Wink

I will try this, but the problem is not with the watch recording the run, but the transfer of the data from the band to the app. The watch shows the correct distance, but somewhere in the sync it is not showing the same info

Thanks for clarifying @Jramundson Smiley Very Happy! If you are syncing with your computer you should try to clear the browser cache, to see how to clear your cache on a variety of browsers you can go to: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache. However, if you are syncing with your cellphone try the following:

1. Open the Fitbit App and log out
2. Turn off the Bluetooth and also your cellphone
3. Restart your tracker
4. Turn On your cellphone and also the Bluetooth
5. Finally, Log back into your Fitbit app and set up the tracker as a new Fitbit device

Keep me posted, I'll be aware!
