Misted up then button stopped working

Hi, can anyone help me? 2 weeks ago my Surge misted up and stayed that way. Then 4 days ago, the button on bottom right stopped working. It's not stuck in or out, just doesn't work. I use it a lot as I'm a fitness instructor -wear and tear? I've only had it since January.

Hi, just curious if anything came out of this. I have the same issue (on top of misting and the bottom right button no longer working, the green heart rate light stays lit (not flashing, just solid green) even when i'm not wearing it or when its plugged in.

I know for a fact that it's out of warranty and contacting them about it will just result in them trying to sell me on a new one, so curious if they were any help

Hi there,My fitbit was still within warranty so they exchanged it no problems. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

@Xalynis The misting is probably a bad seal so that will most likely continue to be an issue. For the steady green LED try completely draining the battery. Remember a blank screen does not mean the battery is dead. It may take a couple of days. Once you're sure the battery is dead. Plug it in and charge it. Once fully charged Do a restart. This may or may not work. Best of luck.

A warm welcome to our Fitbit Community family @Xalynis! Thanks for the help guys @LucyRedman and @VF31AE3Robot Very Happy

I agree with @VF31AE3 in regards to the restart, you can try that a couple times and see if that helps. Also you can turn off the Heart Rate option on the Surge Settings, force syn it, turn it back on and force sync it again. If the touch screen is working you will be able to go to Settings.

Give it a try sometimes it works. Our Team can take a further look into the issue, if you wish I can request a new case for you!

I'll be around in case that you need anything else! Woman Happy
