I cannot get my surge to update to the correct time. I have manually updated time and time zone on my app. Re-synced etc nothing is working. My battery is draining quite fast and am wondering if it has had it? If it has I wont be buying another fitbit as they just do not last at all!

How long ago does the Fitbit app say the last sync was @JessTamblyn? A sync should correct the time. Some users find that manually setting the time to the wrong timezone. Sync. Then set to
As for correct timezone, or set to use the phones time will fix the time on the watch.
As for battery life, this is an issue with all lithium batteries, they can only be recharged so many times. Don't like being charged to 100% or discharged below 30%, if left dead for a while the battery starts to self destruct. Replacement battery can be purchased through Amazon for a few dollars. You can find a YouTube video on the replacement process. My brother replaced both the band and battery on the 5 year old Surge.
Considering that it has been 2.5 years since the Surge has been made and 5 years for your Fitbit account, I think your doing really good, considering that Apple expects their watches to last only three years.

There is no way to replace the battery.
Changing the band will not solve your problem either. Try contacting support. Use the help link at the top of the forum

Kits may be bought on Amazon or several third party companies will do it.
