My surge is not holding charge

I’ve had my Surge for about 8 months. It only holds a charge for about 10 hours. I’ve tried all the tips they have offered to extend the battery life, but it has made no difference. Anyone got any suggestions?

Hi. I just started using my surge yesterday and have the same problem... super fast battery drain. So I started a chat with a Fitbit rep who said to first do the brain drain test... “disable all features that can impact battery life  (found at fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2004) then fully charge device. Sync 5-6 x a day and wear until battery is depleted.” If problem persists go to website and chat or call. They’ll give you a case number and will discuss options. I started the test less than 24 hours ago and battery is almost dead so I’ll contact them again today. By doing the test first, you’ll be one step ahead. GPS is obviously the biggest drain.
