New Surge stuck on startup screen

Unpacked Surge, connected to Laptop, set up Fitbit account, now app asks for number on fitbit to enter onto PC, this is put in and surge is still stuck on configure screen. When I try to reset using home/select button does not reset stays stuck on configure screen.

I'll be more than glad to help you with this! You mentioned Fitbit Charge 2 in the title of your post but the Fitbit Surge in the post. Would you mind confirming which one you're using?  If your computer is asking the number to connect with your Fitbit again, must likely the set up process didn't finish successfully the fist time.

 

I'd recommend restarting your Fitbit tracker a couple of times and follow these instructions to make it connect with your phone again. If you prefer to use your computer, please try the steps in this post.

Spoke to customer support, surge was faulty.

Received replacement in post and now working OK.
