New Surge won't open Bike mode

I bought my original Surge in July 2015. "Bike" was not an option. When it became available, I updated that Surge and used it. Unfortunately, the strap broke. Fitbit replaced the Surge by mail but the new Surge does not have Bike mode. I went through the same process to update the unit but even though this has the latest version (16.34.5.14), it does not have Bike mode.

What do I do...

You need to select Bike on your dashboard as an exercise option for your Surge and sync the two to transfer it. The Surge can only support a limited number of exercises from the set available so it needs to be configured by the user to offer the ones that they're interested in. From memory, Bike isn't one of the default offerings.
