Surge GPS not responding

I've had my Surge for a week or so now, and was excited to get it instead of my Blaze for the internal GPS capability. I hate taking my phone on runs.

Anyway, when I hit Free Run, it tells me the sattelite is locked, then when I go to start my run and hit the start button, it doesn't respond. The start button pulsates at my touch but nothing happens. No time counter, no nothing. It'll tell me a horribly innacurate rendition of my pace per mile, but logs nothing else.

To the app, it just records how far I've gone. No pace. No mile splits.

What gives? Any help is appreciated. About to sell this thing.

Hey, I should read directions. I rebooted the thing, and hit the button to start instead of touchng the screen and it works fine.

The screen should work as well but I do generally find the button easier.
