Hi what do people think would be involved with making a new band / attaching system . I have seen a website that has done a tear down and basically if you remove the band and the glue surely it couldn't be to hard to make replacement ?
That would be the quickest way to invalidate your warranty. I am also not aware of anyone doing it. I saw a teardown and it looks like that glue is really there to stay and any attempt would destroy the tracker.
I was thinking about this the other day. Surely someone with the right abilities and a 3d printer can design caps that could be glued on either side of the screen inplace of the straps with provisions to attach a watch strap with pins or a tounge and grove system.
