No longer able to sync Surge

It has been a challenge to sync my Fit Bit Surge right from the start but up until the last few days I can't get it to manually sync. I do not have it set up for any mobile apps it is strictly used with my PC. Even when I have it charging on the cable I can't get it to sync. That was a sure download in the past. Every couple of days it will sync. What is the answer to get it to manually sync when I want it to? Oh, and to provide a little extra information, yes it is close to the computer, no there are no other blue tooth devices near the dongle and I have the latest updates.

Welcome to the community @Hobie2000! I appreciate your efforts in trying to sync your tracker to your computer again. I wanted to ask, have you tried all the troubleshooting steps listed in the article How do I troubleshoot syncing problems in this post? If not, please give them a try.
