Not counting steps while pushing huge stroller

I've noticed that when I take a walk while pushing this huge stroller(it sits six kids, and isn't your usual kind of stroller), that my Fitbit doesn't count my steps. The only way I can get it to actually count my steps while on these walks is if I take it off and put it in my sweaters pockets or attach it to a belt loop. Why doesn't it work as it should when it's on my wrist?

When pushing the stroller, your precious arm isn't in motion.. the tracker believes not walking since there needs to be arm movement.. and a certain treshold for a step being counted as a actual steps.

Feel free to check out the Fitbit Article: How does my tracker count steps?
