Not getting Active Minutes during cycling

During my bike rides I hardly get any active minutes, especially during slow bikerides (15 km/h average with 90 bpm heartrate). For a 2 - 2,5 hour ride I get 10-20 active minutes. Am I going to slow or is my heartrate too low?

I also noticed that during bike rides the heart monitor is very inaccurate, usually posting much lower values than my Forerunner with chest strip (for example it drops to 60-70bpm on the flat, or even 43 bpm during climbs, while my resting BPM is 55). I tried different armposition, tight, loose, left, right, doesn't seem to matter much.

Hi there @Igorus, I've noticed you are new around so welcome aboard to our Community. Active minutes essentially are a measurement of time spent doing activity that is more intense than regular walking. So if your pace is slow and not very intense your active minute will be low by consequence.

Now you mentioned something that might be connected to your low active minutes. I'm referring to your Heart Rate; I recommend experimenting with how high you place the tracker on your wrist. Wearing the tracker just above the wrist bone--as you would a watch--typically works fine. However, moving the tracker up a couple inches can be helpful during high-intensity exercises and can help to improve your active minutes. Other reason is wearing your band tightly, it may constrict blood flow in your wrist affecting the signal.

Hope my tips helps, catch ya later my friend.
