Not syncing, likely bluetooth problem

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have a fitbit surge.

It was working perfectly up until 3 days ago.

It no longer syncs with my iphone 6 or with my laptop with the dongle in place.

I have tried turning the fitbit on and off.

I have tried turning the iphone on and off.

I have tried turning the iphone bluetooth on and off.

I have tried turning the laptop bluetooth on and off.

I have deleted the fitbit app from my phone, downloaded it again.

I have removed the device from the phone app and bluetooth preferences, but am unable to reaccess it.

When searching for it, it is undetected. It is fully charged.

Please help!

Have you tried resetting the actual device. Is there a reset hole on that kind of fitbit?

hi Marre

I'm still waiting for a email reply from fitbit.. this issue is ridiculous and I've pretty much just using the fitbit surge as a paper weight..

Whats the number for Australian customers.
I think the product is not worth the hype
Had i known of these issues i would have invessted my $400 on a better product.
I certainly do not recommend it to anyone and dont hesitate in expressing my feelings about the product when asked. Tommorrow i will look for another sport watch.
In mean time sell this for whatever i canget for it on ebay - which will be next to nothing as most people are aware now of how unstable the software of this product is.
You should not have follow a series of steps every few days to get the product to work.
I have other Bluetooth products and dont have any issues with them.
WASTE OF MONEY & WASTE OF TIME TRYING TO FIX IT.
It should never have been released.
