Not tracked a walk

I have just got a surge this week, having had a charge HR for a long time. I went for a walk this morning, about 30 minutes, my settings are to track walks over 10 minutes. When I have synced the surge the walk is not showing up as exercise. Am I missing something obvious here, is there something I have to do to make it show up? It says I have done 30 active minutes so it obviously recognised I was moving.

Thanks

@littlecar, that's very unusual!  My experience is that all Fitbits with SmartTrack reliably track walks.  I would suggest giving your Surge a restart -- instructions here.  After that, double check your settings to make sure SmartTrack is set for walks, and then force a sync.  You may find your walk shows up on your activity log with the next sync, but in any case, it shouldn't happen again.
