Hows Microsoft Band 2 quality vs Surge ?
I own a surge from last 1 year or so and unfortunately the rubber strap has started coming off.
I can now see the black plastic under it.
Was wondering if other companies (basically Microsoft) also uses same quality of rubber ? Or its a better quality plastic (i guess..)
I never expected a $250 band to wear apart in one year !!
Cheers

Hello @arnav, welcome aboard to our Community. I'm sorry to hear your Surge wristband is presenting damage. I would recommend to contact our Support Team for additional assistance, in case you haven't contact them yet.
I've seen the Microsoft band 2 and I really liked it specially because has Cortana integration; as for the materials I'm not sure but is chunky wristband but the quality from the 1 to the 2 has improved. However the concept between both trackers are very different, as I think is more a SmartWatch while the Fitbit Surge is a Performance Fitness watch.
When I was at the store looking this wristband, and it look similar to the new Fitbit tracker Charge 2, the guy told me the battery last around 2 days with regular usage. I'm not trying to change your point, because I understand the experience you have; but if you are interesting in know more about this tracker please visit our product page under Charge 2, if you want to know more about review of the Microsoft Band 2 take a look at YouTube. When I'm going to buy an electronic device, I'll always check reviews on YouTube.
See you around and I hope this information helps.
