Number of steps

Earlier this week I was in a classroom with a coworker. We both wore fitbits and were on similar number of steps when we started. We did the exact same job with the same amount of walking. At the end of the day she had 6000 steps but I only had 2000.  ????

Your strides are different. They will never match.

 

Were you holding anything at any time and she was not. Holding things will not count steps.

 

Several others things came come into play as well

I have found the step counter on the Surge to be completely inaccurate no matter how many times I`ve attempted to calibrate the thing.
